Focused health and community initiatives creating real, measurable impact across schools and communities in India.
Health Adda is HOPE's flagship community health initiative — a series of health camps, wellness events, and awareness drives that bring preventive healthcare directly to schools and community gatherings. The "Health Mela" format brings together doctors, health educators, and community members for a day of free consultations and health awareness.
Health Adda addresses the everyday health needs of families who may not regularly access formal medical care — from general wellness to specialist referrals — ensuring that no community member is left behind.

B-RODH (Behaviour Research on Disease and Health) is HOPE's school-based Hepatitis B intervention program — a pioneering initiative covering 45+ districts across Uttar Pradesh, with the wider Centre of Excellence now reaching 22,000+ schools across Uttar Pradesh and Haryana through a multi-topic health curriculum. HOPE developed "Hum aur Hamara Swasthya" (Us and Our Health), a landmark educational book distributed to schools across UP.
The Centre of Excellence (CoE) brings together 4 research cells covering immunisation, tobacco, sanitation, and nutrition. Through B-RODH, HOPE has created a reproducible model for school-to-community health education that is now recognised at national and international forums.

Tobacco use is one of India's most significant preventable health crises. HOPE's Tobacco Control Program runs school-based awareness campaigns, expert webinars, and cessation counselling — reaching students, teachers, and community members. In March 2022, HOPE hosted a landmark webinar with Dr. Prerna Kapoor from SGPGIMS (Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences) on tobacco use and cancer prevention.
HOPE works with schools and health authorities to create tobacco-free environments, equips young people with refusal skills, and advocates for stronger public health policies — making a lasting difference one school at a time.

Hepatitis C is a serious liver disease that often goes undetected until it reaches an advanced stage. HOPE's Hepatitis C Initiative focuses on community screening, education, and timely linkage to care — particularly among high-risk groups and underserved populations across India.
Through awareness camps, community drives, and coordination with specialist healthcare providers, HOPE helps community members understand their risk, access testing, and receive treatment guidance — reducing the long-term burden of this preventable disease.

From January 2025 to March 2026, HOPE — funded by the CII Foundation — rolled out a comprehensive health awareness programme across 61 schools: 31 in Gurgaon district (Haryana) and 30 in Lucknow district (Uttar Pradesh). The intervention works through a "school-to-community" approach, aiming to shift students' knowledge, attitudes and practices on health.
Each topic is delivered through interactive sessions, workshops, camps, tree-plantation drives and outreach events — covering sanitation & hygiene, nutrition, mental health, screen addiction, environment, and safe & unsafe touch. Impact is measured with pre- and post-assessments: understanding of personal hygiene, for example, rose from under 50% before sessions to 90–100% afterwards.
See It in Action
In April 2026, around 100 teachers from 21 schools in Gurugram took part in a workshop run by HOPE with the CII Foundation. Led by a doctor (HOPE's founder), a mindfulness coach and a nutritionist, the sessions combined interactive activities with practical mindfulness and nutrition training.
Teachers gained tools for achieving work-life balance, creating positive energy in the classroom, and unlocking their students' potential. We believe empowered educators are the foundation of a brighter future — and we're expanding these workshops to more schools and topics.
