Women’s Day- 8th March
A webinar was organized by Hope initiative on 12th March, 2023 to commemorate International Women’s Day on 8th March, 2023. Two amazing guest speakers were invited to share their journey of success beyond their struggles.
- Ms. Saharish Siddiqui is currently Senior Commandant in the Indian Railway Protection Force Service (IRPFS)
- Ms. Mana Mandlekar, being the first college graduate girl of Alampur village in Madhya Pradesh to international-level gold medalist in karate representing India in the Asian Championships. She is also the Secretary of TINKA SAMAJIK SANSTHA TIMARNI.
It was an interactive session and the participants were encouraged by the speakers.
The theme for International Women’s Day is, “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”.
Global Hand Washing Day- 15th October
Global Hand Washing Day is observed every year on 15th October by WHO. HOPE Initiative has been teaching the 7 steps of Hand Washing as part of the Personal Hygiene presentations in schools. Children have been participating in various inter-school competitions to raise awareness on importance of Hand washing in everyday life.
Poster making, Poster distribution, drawing competition, skit etc. have been some of the activities done to observe Global Hand Washing Day.
Global Earth Day- 22nd April
Webinar was organised on Earth’s Day with 3 expert speakers as they shared their knowledge with the children. And a Photography Competition was done this Earth day.
World Health Day- 7th April
On the occasion of World Health Day (Theme: Our Planet Our Health) & World Earth Day (Theme: Invest In Our Planet), HOPE Initiative wishes our viewers to participate in a unique and interesting activity – PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGE.
