Health Mela
HOPE Initiative organised its first ever Health Mela at Lucknow. 240 students from 19 schools participated in the programme. Children exhibited different working models, posters on different health topics in their designated stalls provided by HOPE Initiative. Thousands of children visited in the Mela. Some enthralled the audience with the nukkad natak performances and some with the puppets. Overall it was a grand show organised by HOPE with their partner schools. Children were awarded prizes and certificates.
How to deal with Exam Stress
Exams are a crucial part of education and source of stress for many students.It is an unavoidable part of a student’s life. Stress Exists for a reason and students can choose these to be the resource of their downfall or they can use it for their improvement.Discipline plays a major role to overcome exam Stress. Taking steps to decrease the stress will increase the productivity:-
1.Get organised: Prioritise your work according to your according to your need. A break of 15 minutes is a must after every 1.5 hours of study. Make a daily routine of your study plan.
2.Stay Healthy: Eat well. Take a walk to rejuvenate your mind and body. Have a good eight hours sleep.
3. Avoid Social Media: Refrain from using Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram.
As a part of health awareness programme , HOPE Initiative regularly conducts sessions on “How to deal with Exam Stress” with the senior class students. One of our many such programmes was in Arvind Academy in Gomti Nagar Lucknow. Our Delhi, NCR team took sessions with the students of 9th and 10th of Suraj School, Sec – 75.The students seem to be happy after the workshop as the looked stress free and happy.
